Welder/Metal Fabricator

Our business is growing! and require a Welder/Metal Fabricator, to join our Fabrication
team. This position is:

  • Full Time Permanent Position
  • Immediate Start
  • Attractive Remuneration

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Welding aluminium components with welding equipment as specified by layouts,
    engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
  • Set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or
    rework finished products.
  • Operate electrical, air and hand power tools, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand
    tools related to specific job needs.
  • Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or
    work orders.
  • Accurately measure and cut materials.
  • Take pride and care for own work.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a welder/metal fabricator in MIG/TIG Welding.
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade.
  • Punctual, reliable and hard-working.
  • Must take the highest level of pride in their work.
  • Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines.
  • Forklift Licence.
