Do you do trays for my model of ute?

Do you fit/remount factory cameras &/or sensors?
Yes, we remount factory cameras &/or sensors on vehicles that come to us with these options already fitted.

Can Trays/Canopies be changed from different model/make?
Trays and Canopies can be transferred between vehicles of similar lengths. Models of similar sizes can be changed relatively easily, by changing the mounts, wiring harness, and fuel filler. In some cases it is necessary to change the Toolboxes and Side steps too.
Can you dispose of my old tub? Or Can I Keep it?
Yes, we can certainly get rid of your old tub for you but this costs $150, and/or you can keep them too! If you are wanting to keep the Tub, we just ask that you please bring 4 wooden pallets, and we will load it onto your tray (or trailer if you bring one).
What price would I be looking at for a tray to suit my ute?

Do all trays come with internal tie downs?
Yes, all Bronco trays are fitted with internal tie downs which helps with not needing to tie over your sideboards and tailgate.
I already have a tray mounted toolbox, how would that work with your trays?
That’s no problem, we can make sectioned sides for you to help with access to the toolbox. Just let us know the size of the opening you require.
Can a Bronco canopy be fitted to a non-Bronco tray?
No, our canopies can only be fitted to a Bronco Built tray. We have custom packages that can suit you and be fitted with nothing but the best quality!
What sizes are the deep sealed drawers?
Our deep sealed drawers are 1500mm long, with a 140mm internal depth, and a 700mm internal width.
Other FAQs
Is the floor installed before or after the paint has been applied to the tray?
After – this allows us to achieve excellent protection and paint coverage to all areas of the Tray. If the floor were already installed into the tray, there is a situation where the floor is sitting on all main chassis rails and cross members. This creates a problem for successful paint application and can weep rust if all seams have not been sealed.
Do the over-centre latches easily jam?
No, Bronco latches do not jam or get stuck, an occurrence which is common on this type of latch when a powder coated finish is applied.
Can you fit a water tank into the headboard?
Yes, we have a product option to fit a 36L water tank to your vehicle. This is built exclusively to suit the V4 & V5 tray and headboard.
Are LED taillights included with the Tray?
Yes, all our trays come with standard LED taillight features with options for different taillights for you to choose from.
Where does the fuel filler go?
Our V4 and V5 headboards have the fuel filler and cap built (“integrated”) into their headboard. The V3 utilises the existing fuel filler hardware.
Can Trays/Canopies be changed from different makes/models?
Trays and Canopies can be transferred between vehicles of similar lengths. Models of similar sizes can be changed relatively easily, by changing the mounts, wiring harness, and fuel filler. In some cases it is necessary to change the toolboxes and infill side steps too.
Are all trays & canopies powder coated?
Yes, all of our trays, canopies, and service bodies come powder coated as a standard feature, with a variety of colour options to choose from.
There is also the option for you to choose 2-pack paint instead of powder coating, however this is an additional cost.
Can the LED tail lights be fitted on any vehicle?
The 355 and 385 have a “sequential” indicator, it races from the inside to outside like some European cars. This sequential light won’t work on all vehicles. It is known not to work on the Amarok, RAM, and Older BT50’s (2012-2020). Only Maxilamp lights can be fitted on these models.
Can my Tray or Canopy be shipped for me?
Yes, we can ship your tray or canopy to any one of our fitting agents across the country.
Note: some dealerships are also able to fit our trays, we can ship to these locations too.

How does getting custom mesh work?
The process of making custom mesh for your vehicle involves sending through a file with your logo/design/image once your order is placed. We then send back a proof of the design so you can confirm size/position/layout. Once you will approve the proof, we then trace your design and convert it into a file which can be laser cut.
How much longer does it take for custom window mesh?
Given that it is custom, it will increase the quoted delivery time by approximately 4 working days. This will be longer again if the window mesh also requires 2-pack painting.
What size water tanks can be fitted?
We offer 15L tanks that are side mounted and 50L or 100L tanks that are under-tray mounted. We also offer 36L tanks in the headboard on our V4 & V5 variants.
Can I get a ladder rack for my tray?
Yes, ladder racks can be fitted as an option with our trays. These can also come with extra accessories such as load spikes and stainless steel capping.
Do you sell replacement fuel filler & water tank caps?
Yes, we sell replacement fuel filler & water tank caps for Bronco Built trays only.
